Due to the resignation of Cllr. Alexander Dorey Flint, there is new vacancy on the parish council. There are currently 2 vacancies. In line with legislation (Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, notice is hereby given that a casual vacancy has occurred. An election to fill the vacancy will be held if, within 14 days (not counting Saturdays, Sundays and certain days) from the date 16-05-26, TEN electors for the Parish of Burwash give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.
The deadline has been set as 7th May.
